Authorities are responding to a fire at a Punta Gorda house. At least four Charlotte County fire trucks and multiple Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office cars responded to the fire Friday afternoon. WINK News spoke with neighbors who said they think the fire started on the lanai. Neighbors also said they believe the cause of the fire is electrical, and that water may have seeped into the electrical box after Thursday night’s flooding in Charlotte County.
