Those who wish to volunteer should report to the Volunteer Reception Center at 8:30 a.m. on Friday at the Family Services Center, located at 21500 Gibraltar Drive in Port Charlotte.

According to Charlotte County officials, volunteers will assess community needs and distribute important information about available resources.
