If your insurance has been canceled or is not being renewed due to this year’s storms, the state of Florida wants you to reach out to the Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR).

It’s for all policy holders who lost coverage between Sept. 26 and it goes through Dec. 10.

Emergency orders are in place that prohibit the cancellation or non-renewal of a policy until then.

Those seeking assistance regarding cancellation or nonrenewal of policies should email copies of relevant documents to the OIR at HU-PCMR@FLOIR.com.
