According to the Punta Gorda Police Department, the northbound lane of US 41 at Olympia Avenue and Marion Avenue is closed due to a traffic crash investigation. All northbound traffic is being redirected via Olympia Avenue to access I-75 and Marion Avenue to connect to southbound US 41 Authorities said this closure is expected to last for an extended period. The Punta Gorda Police Department asks drivers to avoid the area and plan an alternate route if possible.
