Man wanted in armed robbery at Bokeelia business

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is seeking information on a man wanted for an armed robbery at a Bokeelia business.

According to Crime Stoppers, on Wednesday, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a robbery at Coconut Island Market.

Deputies arrived on the scene and confirmed the business had been robbed at gunpoint. The suspect fled on foot after taking approximately $8,000 in cash.

The victim described the suspect as a man around 30 years old, with short dark hair and no beard.

He was wearing a black long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans and wielded a black, semi-automatic handgun.
