Cold and sunny for your Thursday plans

The Weather Authority is tracking a frigid Thursday with more sunshine expected this afternoon.

The Weather Authority Meteorologist Zach Maloch said, “The colder temperatures continue in Southwest Florida, as cold weather alerts have been issued throughout the state. This afternoon, expect more sun for your Thursday plans.”

Thursday

We have seen chilly weather days, which continues with your Thursday plans.

Expect to see a lot more sunshine this afternoon with only a few clouds in the sky.

Highs will remain cool and in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

Friday

Cold temperatures continue, starting in the lower to mid-40s.

We’ll see a big warm-up throughout the day on Friday as a warm front lifts through.

Highs top out in the lower to mid-70s for your afternoon plans. 

Saturday

We are tracking our next cold front, which will bring isolated showers on Saturday.

Showers are looking more likely throughout the morning and into the early afternoon.

Rain totals look to be under 0.10 inches.

Temperatures will be milder, with highs in the mid-70s.
