Police look for two suspects in Fort Myers shooting

FORT MYERS, Fla.- The Fort Myers Police Department is searching for two suspects in connection with a shooting that occurred December 13.

Detectives have identified the suspects as 19-year-old Keita Gaymon and 24-year-old Jordon Brown were responsible for the shooting.

Officials responded to the intersection of Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard and Michigan Avenue in reference to a shots fired call. Upon arriving, police located several spent ammunition casings in the roadway along with two vehicles in front of a residence that sustained damage from the gunfire. There were no injuries.

At this time police are searching for Gaymon and Brown who have open charges for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

“The callousness of this crime shows these two individuals have no regard for life and must be taken into custody without delay,” said Police Chief Doug Baker.

Anyone with information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the suspects could be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
