Alex Jones is a sixth grader at Trafalgar Middle School.
In a Cape Coral Parks and Recreation matchup between the Spurs and Clippers, he was the hero.
The game was tied at 23 points with 8.6 seconds left.
Jones brought the ball down the court and threw it long for three points and a win.
Final score: Spurs 26, Clippers 23.
