
KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) – The Florida Highway Patrol says a teenager was hit by a car as he was crossing a road to get onto a school bus.
The crash happened about 6:40 a.m. Thursday near Kissimmee.
Troopers say the teen was taken to an Orlando hospital in critical condition.
According to troopers, the school bus was coming to a stop with its amber lights on when a Nissan struck the boy.
The names of the teen or the driver of the vehicle have not been relased.
An investigation continues.
