
NAPLES, Fla. – The Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples is once again hosting a Night at the Museum: Big Wigs, the museums largest annual fundraiser.
This year they’re hoping to raise $400,000 to build a brand new maker lab and introduce an orb raceway, 3D printer and CNC stamp maker, among other new exhibits.
In 2014, the Night at the Museum brought in enough funds to introduce some new exhibits, including a digital graffiti wall. Kids can experiment with technology and create graffiti on a wall using an infrared spray can.
Several other new exhibits open Monday, February 9th including, The Loos Art Gallery, featuring 15 pieces of the museums fine art collection.
Dancing Sculptures, allowing children to learn about kinetic moving art and a brand new sketching station, which allows you to use magnetic tablets to draw monochromatic art using color pastel and charcoal kits.
