MGN Online FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Boston Red Sox are holding a free, public open house at JetBlue Park, located at 11500 Fenway South Drive in Fort Myers, on Saturday, Feb. 28. This year’s event will also include a yard sale featuring Red Sox memorabilia. It will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is open to the public and free of charge, including complimentary parking. The family-friendly event will give fans an opportunity to walk freely around JetBlue Park, enjoy games, arts and crafts, a petting zoo, discounted concessions and player autographs in the afternoon. The team will also hold a yard sale giving fans an opportunity to purchase a selection of items including memorabilia from former and current players, collectables from the World Series season, photos and more. Proceeds will be donated to the Red Sox Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization and the official team charity of the Boston Red Sox. The Foundation’s primary focus locally is in serving the health, education, recreation and social service needs of children and families across Southwest Florida. A bloodmobile will also be onsite for anyone wanting to donate blood. Before the open house, the public is invited to watch that morning’s workouts beginning at 9 a.m.
