JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) – A 19-year-old man is accused of molesting two children at a Jacksonville day care facility.

The Florida Times-Union (http://bit.ly/1Mvl9cL ) reports Rodney Romelus faces two charges of lewd and lascivious molestation. He was arrested Friday and remains in the Duval County Jail.

The victims told police they were watching a movie at the day care center when Romelus asked them to sit with him. Both said they were then molested. Romelus worked at the center.

Police say they were initially told of the incident in February by the Florida Department of Children and Families.

Children and Families spokesman John Harrell told the newspaper the incident occurred at Kings Kids Christian Learning, which is next door to the Whitehouse Assembly Church of God in Jacksonville.

No further details were immediately available.
