LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies have identified the 65-year-old man who died Friday afternoon while swimming off Upper Captiva. Deputies found the body of Vincent Anzalone from Shreveport, Louisiana in the water Friday evening. Authorities were called to the area around 4 p.m. for a missing swimmer. Deputies said six people had anchored their boat and were out swimming when the boat started to drift away. Two people including Anzalone swam after the boat but he never made it. Deputies have not released a cause of death.
