Deputies searching for missing 16-year-old from North Naples‘Bringing light to Southwest Florida’: Hanukkah festival in Bonita Springs
KEY WEST, Fla. (AP) – A southwest Florida man and his adult sons are facing charges after wildlife officials say the men captured too many lobsters around the Keys. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission reports that officers stopped a recreational fishing boat Wednesday evening and began checking the catch of a 55-year-old man and his sons, ages 22 and 24. The men showed officers 18 lobsters – meeting the limit of six each. But officials say a search of the boat revealed an additional 28 lobsters in a hidden compartment in the bilge of the boat. The men were taken to Monroe County Jail, and their boat was towed. All three were charged with being over the lobster limit. The father faces additional charges of having no saltwater fishing license, having no lobster stamp and three other boating citations.
