
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. – A mechanical problem shutdown one lane of traffic on the Big Carlos Pass bridge Sunday.
Lee County Sheriff’s deputies said the mechanical traffic arm got stuck in the down position around 10 a.m. causing traffic backups. Crews were able to manually lift one arm and deputies alternated traffic across the bridge.
The bridge fully reopened around 1 p.m.
