FMPD detains suspect in Chase bank robbery

FORT MYERS, Fla.- The Fort Myers Police Department has detained a suspect in a robbery at the Chase bank located on the 1400 block of Colonial Boulevard.

Police say a man entered the bank just after 5 p.m. Thursday, implying he had a gun and demanded money.

The suspect left the bank with an unknown amount of cash and was seen leaving the scene in a nearby vehicle.
