7 arrested in Fort Myers drug roundup

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Several suspected drug dealers in Fort Myers are now behind bars.

As a result of undercover drug buys throughout the city over the last few weeks, the Fort Myers Police Department arrested seven people last Thursday. Officials say the majority of the sales occurred in or near parks, schools and churches.

Pedro Murphy, 39, and John Mitchell, 61, are both facing charges for selling cocaine within 1,000 feet of a church and possession of cocaine.

Angelia Miller, 40, was arrested for selling cocaine within 1,000 feet of a park and possession of cocaine.

Henry Leonard, 39, is facing charges for two counts of selling marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school, and possession of marijuana.

Kirt Kirby, 29, was arrested for selling heroin within 1,000 of a park and possession of heroin.

Adrian Manuel, 27, is charged with two counts of selling cocaine and possession of cocaine.

Angela McNealy, 45, is facing charges of solicitation for the purposes of prostitution.

Authorities say this is the fifth drug roundup FMPD has conducted in 2015.
