At least 6 dead after severe storms, tornadoes hit Tennessee, leave trail of damageDeputies searching for missing 16-year-old from North Naples
MGN Online LAKELAND, Fla. (AP) – A central Florida woman is facing charges after authorities say a friend’s baby that she was watching died from being shaken or thrown. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office reports that 20-year-old Adrianna Bradley was arrested Thursday and charged with aggravated child abuse and manslaughter. Authorities say rescuers and deputies responded to Bradley’s Lakeland home Wednesday afternoon following injuries to 8-month-old Jaxon Betts. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Bradley told deputies that Jaxon had been playing with her own baby on a tile floor. She said Jaxon attempted to stand but fell and hit his head. She said she found Jaxon not breathing a short time later. An autopsy conducted Thursday found that Jaxon’s injuries could not have been the result of a fall. Jail records didn’t list an attorney for Bradley.
