NAPLES, Fla. – A group of veterans is getting a VIP tour of Southwest Florida.

The Waterfront Warriors South organization is hosting 16 wounded, ill and injured veterans and their family members from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The group of 34 flew into RSW Sunday and will be visiting the area through Veteran’s Day.

Waterfront Warriors South is paying for the entire trip, which will include golfing, boat tours and water activities.

“City of Naples Fire Chief Stephen McInerny and City of Naples Vice-Mayor Dee Sulick and her husband, Peter have been instrumental in helping us plan some wonderful events for our veterans” said founder Kevin McAdams. “My wife Tracy and I were involved in a similar organization in New York and we recently moved to Naples. We realized that Naples would be a perfect community to start our own program to honor these amazing men and women” added McAdams.

Kevin is a retired New York City Firefighter.
