FORT MYERS, Fla.- Daniels Parkway is back open in Lee County following an overnight crash.

Lee County deputies say around 1 a.m. on Monday, a driver hit a utility pole on Daniels Parkway near Eagle Ridge Drive.

The crash caused a power outage for 3,433 Florida Power and Light customers. Power was restored six hours later, but the road remained closed for hours Monday morning due to down power lines.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office says Daniels Parkway is back open in all directions.
