Police: Naked man arrested at after defecating on bench

LAKE WORTH, Fla. (AP) – A homeless man is being held in a Palm Beach County jail after authorities said he defecated on a Lake Worth Beach bench and then fondled himself in front of a 5-year-old girl.

The Palm Beach Post reports that the 39-year-old man took off his clothes, defecated in full view of beachgoers, then walk into the ocean to “wash” himself.

A police report said he then then strolled up and down the beach naked before fondling himself in front of a girl who told her mother, “Look, mommy, he’s naked.”

Gonzalez was being held Saturday on $25,000 bond. He is charged with lewd and lascivious behavior. Online jail records didn’t list an attorney for him.
