FORT MYERS, Fla.- A shooting Sunday night on the 2900 block of Thomas Street is under investigation, the Fort Myers Police Department said. Natyri Pitts, 19, suffered a non-life threatening injury after being shot around 9 p.m., police said. Authorities say Pitts was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital by a third party and declined to pursue criminal charges in the shooting. The suspect vehicle was described as a dark colored sedan, police said.
