FORT MYERS, Fla.- A purse-snatching on Monday outside the Edison mall is under investigation, the Fort Myers Police Department said. Around 10:15 a.m., the victim reported she was walking to her car parked by the south entrance of the Dillard’s department store when a man pushed her to the ground and took her purse. The suspect got into the passenger side of a car waiting nearby, described as a black Pontiac with a spoiler on the rear and dark tinted windows. Police say the suspect, approximately 20-30 years of age, was wearing shorts and a light colored t-shirt. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fort Myers Police Department at 239-321-7700.
