LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- The body of a woman found in a wooded area off Wheeler Road and 14th Place on the Lee- Hendry county line is being investigated as a homicide, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said on Friday.
The Medical Examiner’s Office is working on identifying the victim.
A cause or manner of death has not yet been released.
No further details were immediately available.
