CAPE CORAL, Fla.- An 18-year-old was arrested in connection to a recent home burglary, the Cape Coral Police Department said Friday.
Rainey Bennett is now facing charges of unoccupied burglary and grand theft.
The victim reported several items had gone missing from her home while she was at work, police said. A photo of the suspect captured by surveillance cameras aided authorities in identifying Bennett.
“Thanks to the community, we were able to make a quick identification and apprehension,” said Det. Sergeant Dana Coston with CCPD.
