FORT MYERS, Fla. — Highs will range from the upper 80s at the coast to the mid-90s inland as temperatures soar around Southwest Florida on Friday.

A mostly sunny morning will give way to sun and clouds in the afternoon, with the best chance of scattered storms coming from 3-9 p.m. It’ll be humid, with southeast winds at 10 mph.

Preliminary forecasts show a tropical depression or storm could affect Southwest Florida by early next week.
