FORT MYERS, Fla. — An East Lee County High School employee has been suspended without pay following allegations that he made sexually related comments to at least three female high school students, officials said.

Orlando Torres, a security specialist, will remain on suspension until the school board hears from a judge.

The inappropriate comments caused the students “extreme discomfort and embarrassment,” according to the allegations.

Torres has been a district employee since the 2010/11 school year.
