FORT MYERS, Fla. — A 38-year-old Naples man who pleaded guilty to charges of distributing child pornography has been sentenced to five years and six months in federal prison, the U.S. Justice Department said.

Travis John Jenner pleaded guilty in January after undercover Canadian authorities caught him sharing sexually explicit photos of two women who were under the age of 18 at the time they were photographed, according to a Justice Department release.

Jenner told U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials that he had become obsessed with one of the girls after having carried on an online relationship with her. ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations seized a laptop that contained the photos he shared with Canadian police as well as other sexually explicit photos of one of the girls.
