BARNESVILLE, Ga. — Police found a homeless student camping out on the campus of Gordon State College in Georgia after he rode a bike six hours to school.

The police paid for a hotel room, and he’s since been set up with a job at a pizza parlor. There’s also a GoFundMe account known as Success for Fred, with donations pouring in.

“Now, it’s a nice relief,” said Fred Barley, the student. “I’m happy.  Thank you so much.  I never wanted any of this to happen.”
