NORTH NAPLES, Fla. – A large truck hit a 15-year-old boy near US-41 and Immokalee Road on Friday before 7 p.m.
The boy was flown to a hospital as a trauma alert, authorities said.
His blue bike was left mangled in the street and deputies are on scene. He was riding his bike with his mother, leaving the Walmart at 11225 Tamiami Trail N. One exit at the Walmart is blocked as the Florida Highway Patrol investigates the crash.
