EASTON, Mass. — A Lehigh Acres man is facing charges in connection to a murder in Massachusetts. Michael Noguera, 47, was arrested Saturday in Conway, South Carolina, after a group of teenagers riding their bikes near Easton, Massachusetts, found Daniel Smith, 35, laying on the ground with a gunshot wound Tuesday, CBS affiliate WBZ-TV reported. Noguera is facing charges of accessory to murder after the fact, armed robbery and larceny over $250, Massachusetts police say. Noguera also faces charges in South Carolina, including being a fugitive from justice. He refused to waive extradition during a court appearance Monday, and prosecutors said he’ll be held without bail in South Carolina while Massachusetts officials obtain a special warrant, according to WBZ-TV. Police are still looking for a red 2016 Mazda 3 sedan with a Florida plate reading 372QQK they believe to be connected to the case.
