SANIBEL, Fla. – Officers at the police department say they are overwhelmed with emotion after three women delivered a notebook filled with 1,065 signatures of support. Laural Rosen, Jeanne Hamilton and Pat Santucci’s message? Back the blue. Sanibel Police Chief Jamie Phillips said the signature book was a remarkable gesture. “They came with a book at had 1065 signatures from island people. It’s amazing, simply amazing,” he said.
