BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. — One person was killed in a fatal car wreck on Old U.S. 41 near Mediterra Drive Thursday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Old U.S. 41 has been completely shut down and traffic is being rerouted. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and seek an alternate route.
FHP units are investigating the crash as a possible hit-and-run.
