FORT MYERS, Fla. – Three boaters were rescued Friday from their sinking boat 12 miles off the coast of Sanibel.
They were aboard a 35-foot sailboat when it began to take on water shortly after 4 a.m.
United States Coast Guard crews found them and removed water from their boat before towing them to Fort Myers.
None of the boaters were injured.
