LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. Lee County detectives discovered thousands of dollars worth of marijuana plants Thursday, the sheriff’s office said. Narcotics detectives responded to a home at 135 Naples Ave. South in regards to a possible marijuana grow house, deputies said. After a search warrant was issued for the home, detectives confiscated 122 plants, which weighed a total of 188 pounds, with an approximate street value of $300,000. No arrests have been made at this time as the investigation is ongoing. No further information was immediately available.
