PUNTA GORDA, Fla. Two people were killed in a car fire on Dec. 15, 2016, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said.
Miami area residents Emmanuel Marmolejos, 21, and Anthony Espinosa, 28, were discovered after the flames were extinguished in a fully involved vehicle fire at 45991 Bermont Road, according to deputies.
The fire was considered suspicious and was upgraded to a homicide investigation, deputies said.
