The early hours of Sunday morning ended in pepper spray and arrest for one 18-year-old man, the Cape Coral Police Department said Monday. Alex M. Paz, of Cape Coral, is facing charges of carrying a concealed firearm, battery LEO, resisting arrest, possession of cocaine, and possession of a controlled substance, according to police. Officers responded around 2:10 a.m. to the McDonald’s on 8 NE Pine Island Road after receiving a call about a man, later identified as Paz, brandishing a firearm at the eatery, police said. A .32 caliber Astra handgun was discovered upon further investigation, according to police.
