It was once said to be the largest excavation of human remains in Florida history. And a local law enforcement agency called it their most challenging case ever. It’s a crime that has remained unsolved for over a decade and police are still trying to find out who these victims are, how they were murdered, who killed them, and why. The national Unidentified Persons Database lists 11,623 open cases of unidentified remains in the U.S.. You can search the database at identifyus.org.
