MOORE HAVEN, Fla. The identity of a woman hit and killed by two cars has been released. Kaitlyn Renee Desormeau, 21, of Naples, was struck around 10 p.m. Oct. 5 on U.S. 27 east of Bronson Road, the Florida Highway Patrol said. One of the cars was a Ford Exhibition SUV and the other was a Toyota Corolla, according to the FHP. No charges were filed against either of the drivers. The crash remains under investigation. It’s unclear why Desormeau was in the road.
