Cape Coral Police are on the scene of a hit and run traffic crash at the 800 block of Cape Coral Pkwy E. The vehicle hit a pedestrian and fled the scene, said CCPD in a press release.
Both east and westbound traffic on Cape Coral Pkwy E is down to one lane of travel. The vehicle has been stopped at Country Club Blvd and Veterans Pkwy and will have a police presence there as the investigation continues, per the press release.
Avoid the area and seek an alternate route, if possible.
