A car hit a pedestrian in Cape Coral on Del Prado Boulevard S and Viscaya Parkway Friday.
Cape Coral Police Department is responding to the scene.
Northbound lanes of Del Prado Blvd S are blocked.
Police ask drivers to avoid the area and seek an alternate route. The lane closures are expected to last for a couple of hours at least.
