The Luminary Hotel is taking shape along the Fort Myers waterfront and plans to open August, 2020.

The president of the project says they’ll top out the 12-story building next month.

The $92 million project will include 243 rooms, dining, and a rooftop bar in the Marriott owned hotel.

But it doesn’t stop there.

The project also includes turning the city pier building into a restaurant with a patio and retail space, plus a huge makeover to the Harborside Event Center.
