Head on collision kills one on Daniels Pkwy. early Monday morning.

One person has died following a fatal crash early Monday morning on Daniels Parkway.

Florida Highway Patrol says the incident happened at the intersection of Daniels Pkwy. and Danport Boulevard, when a vehicle driven by Manel Evariste, 34, along with her passenger, Nahomie Deltor, 42, was experiencing mechanical issues and was stopped on eastbound Daniels Pkwy at the intersection of Danport Boulevard in the center lane.

According to FHP, A second vehicle was eastbound on Daniels Pkwy in the center lane west of the intersection with Danport Boulevard, approaching Evariste’s vehicle.

A third vehcile was westbound on Daniels Pkwy east of the intersection with Danport Boulevard.

The left front of the second vehicle struck the left rear corner of Evariste’s vehicle, causing them to be pushed into the intersection into the path of the third vehicle.

The front of the third vehicle struck the front right side Evariste’s vehicle, and killed her passenger, Nahomie Deltor.

The investigation is ongoing.
