Law enforcement searching for man who stole 14K in cigarettes from Walmart

According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, law enforcement is looking for a man who stole a large number of cigarettes from a Fort Myers Walmart.

Law enforcement says just before 3 a.m. on April 9, two men entered the Walmart located at 14821 Ben C Pratt Six Mile Cypress Pkwy.

They took 2 large Sterlite totes from the housewares department, went behind a register and loaded the totes full of cigarette cartons.

The amount of the merchandise taken is currently estimated to be over $14,000.00.

The two men were seen getting into a black colored sedan.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $3000 cash reward for information on the identity or location of the cigarette thieves. Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-780-TIPS (8477) or submit an anonymous tip using the P3Tips mobile app.
