A Bonita Springs business needs your help finding a suspect who stole a $40,000 ring Tuesday afternoon.

Amber Marzucco, a co-owner of the jewelry store, said she is still shaken up from the theft.

“It’s just scary,” Marzucco said. “This is like my safe area.”

The suspect, who reportedly has an Arabic or Israeli accent, stole a white gold chocolate diamond wedding set from Tiara Fine Jewelry in Bonita Springs Tuesday around 2 p.m. The store is on the first floor of the Hyatt Coconut Point.

The jewelry store opened nearly a decade ago and nothing like this ever happened.

Lee County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect even called a friend to ask about the type of diamonds that were on the ring before he stole it. The man was last seen running down the driveway at the Hyatt Hotel.

If you have any information, contact the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at (239) 477-1000 or SWFL Crime Stoppers at 1-(800)-780-8477.
