Cape Coral roofing business owner surrenders license, lawyer says

The lawyer of the owner of Campbell Roofing and Sheet Metal in Cape Coral confirms his client has surrendered his license to the state Thursday.

Owner Josh Campbell’s lawyer said by doing this Campbell is not admitting guilt.

Campbell’s lawyer said if his client ever applies for a license again, which he says he does not plan to do, he will owe the state $640,000 in fines.

Dozens of people came forward to WINK News accusing Campbell of taking their money and never completing jobs at their homes.
