Search continues for the man who attacked a Charlotte County jogger

Detectives have decided to not press charges in an incident with a jogger in Charlotte County. While in a similar case that happened two weeks later, they are still searching for a different person who attacked a runner.

A woman was running nearby a park last Thursday when an unidentifiable person attacked her. That investigation is ongoing as authorities are still looking for a male who wore a gray hoodie and pants, along with a knit ski mask.

According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office press release, while canvassing the neighborhood for the aggressor, they came across the woman involved in a similar incident that took place two to three weeks before. CCSO identified the man involved and stated that “no criminal charges apply at this time.” But they are warning you to stay vigilant.
