Photo via LCSO David Anthony Flowers, 39, was found guilty as charged of one count of Engaging in an Act Which Constitutes Sexual Battery Upon or With a Child 12 Years of Age or Older but Younger than 18 Years of Age by a Person in a Familial or Custodial Authority. The jury returned the verdict Wednesday afternoon following a three-day trial in Lee County. Flowers faces up to life in prison when he is sentenced on December 23rd. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrested the defendant in December 2018 after investigating information they had received involving him sexually battering a child in Lehigh Acres.
