Robert Philip Giguere (Credit: CCSO booking photo) A 66-year-old East Naples man was arrested Wednesday on more than 100 counts related to child pornography. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office said Robert Philip Giguere possessed and uploaded multiple images of nude children, ages 2 to 13, posing in a lewd manner, engaged in sex acts with other children or with adults. Giguere is facing 100 counts of possession of child pornography, and because multiple images were found, he was also charged with one count of child pornography with intent to promote. CCSO said Thursday that it received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children involving the possible upload of child pornography to a suspect Gmail account that was found to belong to Giguere. Detectives interviewed Giguere at his home, where he gave them written consent to conduct a forensic download of his laptop. Detectives also obtained a search warrant to conduct the forensic download, which involved removing the hard drive and all the data from the laptop. The review turned up more than 100 files containing images of child pornography.
