A Florida House representative is weighing in on a racist rant caught on camera in Southwest Florida recently.

Gina Brashear was recorded during a confrontation, where she is seen getting mad about a truck blocking her driveway in Buckingham.

State Rep. Spencer Roach (R) of District 79, which represents parts of Lee County, says the video was hard for him to watch.

“I was shocked at the viciousness of the verbal attack and then secondly I was saddened and embarrassed,” Roach told WINK News. “I was embarrassed this happened in my district. I was embarrassed this happened in Lee County, in Southwest Florida.”

Roach went on to say, as disgusting as it is, it’s not illegal.

We also reached out to U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio’s office for comment. The office is aware of the video and Sen. Rubio says there’s nothing more “un-American” than racial discrimination.
